Low Vision Specialist GEORGIA

After earning his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in 1983, Dr. Brian E. Saunders continued on to become a member of both the American Optometric Association (AOA) and the Georgia Optometric Association. He also gained membership to the AOA Low Vision Section as well as holding an elite position as a Fellow in the International Academy of Low Vision Specialists.

As a low vision optometrist, Dr. Saunders has been invited to lecture on topics such as macular degeneration, caring for low vision, and nutrition. With up to the minute training on treatments and technology, he is able to assist his low vision patients in regaining their independence with opportunities to read, see the faces of loved ones, and even drive again.

Though Dr. Saunders’ main office is located in the metro Atlanta area, he also offers a satellite office in Macon, Georgia. He lives in Marietta, GA with his wife Cindy and their three children.
