Eyes feel red

When people with high blood pressure experience red eyes, it may be due to subconjunctival hemorrhage; an issue which causes broken blood vessels in the subconjunctiva to leak blood into a red patch on the white of the eye. While not dangerous, this form of bleeding should reabsorb within two or three days unless caused by poorly managed blood pressure; to investigate this further it is essential that the background cause be examined thoroughly – such as poorly managed BP levels – so those experiencing red eyes should visit either their PCP or an eye doctor as soon as possible for examination of further investigation. To make sure their health status is in check a general health checkup will ensure their BP levels are properly managed!
