In addition to gray, yellow, amber, orange, and plum (new! ), Solar Shield®filters are now available in five lens tints. Only eyecare and rehabilitation specialists may get these comprehensive protection filters for consumers. 3 frame sizes—Small, Medium (Oval), and Large—are offered for Solar Shield® contrast-enhancing filters. The medium and large sizes will easily fit over a patient's conventional eyeglasses, while the tiny frame will accommodate patients who have smaller eyewear or who do not use eyewear at all. Small frames [replacing Cateye] fit over Rx frames with a maximum size of 5 1/2"w x 1 5/8"h - 142mm x 42mm. A = 60mm, B = 40mm. The medium range blue light filtering offered by the orange polycarbonate lens is excellent for boosting contrast and enhancing visual acuity. Up to 521 nm, it completely filters UVA/UVB rays as well as all visible light.
