As the medical director of Central Ohio’s largest independent optometric practice, Dr. Mark H. Rinkov has been offering his services to the low vision communities in the area for over 40 years. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Ohio State University of Optometry.

As a member of the American Optometric and the Ohio Optometric Associations, he has received many awards, the most coveted being the Consumer Choice Award which he has received 13 times. He is also a Fellow of the International Academy of Low Vision Specialists, where he trained with Dr. Richard Schuldiner, O.D., F.A.A.O, who is a renowned Low Vision Diplomat.

Through his alliance with these organizations, Dr. Rinkov is able to offer the latest in specialized optometric technologies. Often times, he is able to help patients to regain enough vision to read, watch TV and in some cases even drive again. He helps people through the aid of nutrition and low vision devices.

He is a life long resident of Columbus, OH where he enjoys spending his free time playing tennis, golf, and bicycling as well as enjoying the company of his 3 children and multiple grandchildren.
