After earning his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1988 from Ferris State University in Michigan, Dr. John P. Jacobi went on to become a Fellow of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development, a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA), and the Michigan Optometric Association (MOA), as well as a Fellow in the International Academy of Low Vision Specialists.
While seeing patients from the Metro Detroit area in his Livonia, MI office, Dr. Jacobi worked to enhance his specialties in low vision and vision therapy. His commitment to offering the best in low vision aids as well as helping patients understand the value of nutritional recommendations and other training skills, makes Low Vision of Michigan the foremost practice for Low Vision in the state of Michigan.
Growing up in the Detroit area, Dr. Jacobi continues to live in the area with his wife Susan and their four children. When not helping patients, he enjoys spending his time reading, traveling, boating and skiing.
