After obtaining his B.S. degree from A.S.U. and his O.D. degree from Southern California College of Optometry, Dr. Paul Woolf went on to complete his externship in low vision at the Center for Partially Sighted in Santa Monica, California. He has been delivering advanced low vision services since 1992 and is currently in private practice in Gilbert, Arizona.
Dr. Woolf has received such accolades as the Mattingly International Low Vision Award for Achievement in Low Vision, inclusion in the 2007-2010 editions of the “Guide to America’s Top Optometrists” which is published by the Consumer’s Research Council of America.
Dr. Woolf is recognized for his written works published in the Contact Lens Spectrum as well as having written the “Clinical Abbreviations for Optometry.” This is a reference that is used to teach student doctors in optometry schools what the preferred abbreviations are for patient charts. He is also a member of the National Register of Who’s Who.
