The Vario Digital FHD Advanced is a folding desktop video magnifier with excellent image quality, a small footprint, and customizability. It, like the Vario Digital FHD, has a 15.6″ Full HD monitor with 1.3x – 45x magnification and an FHD camera with a broad field of vision and accurate color picture. When in menu mode, the big tactile buttons and rotary knobs are easy to use and offer speech output. Two LED lights, one on the arm and the other on the back of the monitor, offer bright LED illumination. The huge viewing area provided by the 16:9 widescreen format and tilting camera makes it simpler to read large papers, while the Mirror Mode (only available on the Advanced edition) allows the user to see an enlarged image of oneself on the screen for personal care duties. Images may be recorded and saved on a removable 8GB SD card, which can then be viewed on the LCD screen or on a computer display using the type C USB interface. The Dynamic Line Scrolling feature on captured photos can be used with the blue arrow buttons on the sides of the monitor, and with the Advanced version, it can be used on live images as well, allowing the image to be scrolled through horizontally and vertically without having to move the object being viewed. Only the Vario Digital FHD Advanced version comes with an HDMI-in connector and cable, allowing you to connect an external camcorder for long-distance watching (Compatible Camcorder: Sony HDR-CX405 HD Handicam). Other distant viewing accessories may be found on the internet. Overall, the Vario Digital FHD Advanced’s straightforward operation, convenient folding form, and dynamic features make it a perfect desktop video magnifier for the visually challenged.
